Absolutely! I often see families first. Then, when the individual is ready to seek help, the family will connect them to me.
My services are not a substitute for the psychiatric and medical treatment you would receive at an inpatient program. I often help clients get into inpatient treatment or work with them after they have completed an inpatient program. I provide psychotherapy for individuals in Ontario and coaching services for individuals and families in Canada and the U.S.

I do not prescribe medication. However, I’m happy to collaborate with your psychiatrist or primary care physician, upon your request.
Unless your loved one contacts me directly, I will not reach out to them. Just as we cannot force them to change, we cannot force them to seek services. Your family can still receive support even if your loved one does not. I’m happy to meet with you to help create a support plan, provide information on bipolar disorder, and connect you to resources.
